In late 2015, owner Rose Hanison did major renovation work and breathed much needed love and care back into the building. The aim is to provide great quality food and drink with a friendly and relaxed service while retaining a traditional pub atmosphere and style. The bar area is a laidback space that welcomes diners and drinkers, with real ales available on our hand-pulls alongside bottled beer and bar snacks on offer throughout the day.
We allow dogs in the bar area and can even provide bones or biscuits for four-legged friends if they deserve a treat. The dining room offers a more restaurant-style environment and is great for all functions from meals for two, family gatherings and large parties. Highchairs are available for younger children and we offer a children’s menu.
