As well as launching Love Norwich Food which splits in to two, one part being the Food & Drink Walking Tours and then part two the biggest Independent Food Directory in Norwich – – I’m also a cookery tutor, X chef, caterer, resident chef www.cookeryclub.co.uk and food writer as well as being addicted all all things food – basically I’m a massive foodie.
Which leads me on to my annual pop up event I do at Lodge Farm as part of Lodge Farm Kitchen Cookery courses – this years the theme is Greek with me making authentic Greek Mezze dishes to order in my American Diner, soon to be transformed in to My Little Greek Cafe. They’ll be plate smashing for charity, a licensed bar and Greek music on the sound system all set in the grounds al fresco over looking the lakes.
54 Greek pop up tickets have already sold but I only have 6 left – – contact me to book. They are only £5 and include a free drink and some Greek Olives on the tables. The very reasonably priced food will be ordered and paid for at the bar, you’ll then come in to the Greek Cafe to grab it – sit where you like and enjoy the fabulous weather (it better be). Eat, relax, eat some more and drink some!
I’ll be making 12 or more dishes like slow cooked Lamb with potatoes, Bean Fassoula, Cheese balls, hallomi, humous, tatziki, warm pitta, whitebait and more – plus later you can grab a slice of authentic Greek Orange and Yogurt cake with coffee.
